Once Upon a Time

Established in 2026 at the University of  Texas at Austin, the Folklore Society is a collective of students dedicated to the preservation and subversion of cultural myths. We blend a raw fanzine aesthetic with rigorous academic exploration, publishing our flagship magazine and curating merchandise that brings legendary figures into the modern spotlight. Our goal is to keep the narrative alive through blogs, workshops, and immersive activities, ensuring that the magic of the past continues to vibrate in contemporary culture. We are the architects of the new old-word.
